#AllLivesMatter

I am outraged over the murder of George Floyd and the events that have taken place afterward. I am so sick and tired of hearing about #BlackLivesMatter. It’s not just about blacks, whites, Hispanics, etc. It’s about EVERY SINGLE LIFE on this beautiful earth God put us on. Yes, I am sure that the police officer who murdered Floyd was influenced by his skin color, but honestly, at this point, what does it have to do with anything? We are all Americans and it’s about time we started acting like it.

Law enforcement have always held a special place in my heart, but only for the upstanding officers. Why bash all the LEOS, when not everyone is corrupt or has ulterior motives? All of those cops who participated in the murder should be prosecuted to the FULLEST extent. In the video Floyd was clearly detained. He wasn’t going anywhere so the excessive force was unnecessary. But seriously, paid leave for those cops???? How do the department and local government allow that?

I understand protesting, but straight up rioting is completely uncalled for. It’s a shame that there isn’t enough room to lock every one of you up for this nonsense because it makes you no worse than the cops who murdered Floyd.

“Racial Injustice.” I’m tired of everything being about race. Yes, hate crimes are awful and we should all love our brothers and sisters no matter the color, but why does it always have to circle back to blacks saying that basically everyone who is white hates them and wants them dead? Allie Beth Stucky says it best: “ Are we not allowed to care about this without being accused of being callous, privileged, or racist? Why can’t we mourn death, decry injustice and also be heartbroken over the devastation that’s occurring there- which will ruin people’s lives?” (Posted on her Instagram stories in reference to the riots that have resulted from Floyd’s killing.)

In the end, it will sadly continue. The media will always take a side and twist stories to put the country in unrest. Because the fact of the matter is, more black people are killed by black people than they are killed by white cops. Justice should be served for George Floyd and it should be swift, but the current reactions by the public are not the way. Use your first amendment to protest this the right way!

Matthew 22:39 “And the second is like unto it, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself.
